Afternoon School

The Talmud Torah Afternoon School is the only community Jewish supplementary school in St. Paul. Students from St. Paul and its surrounding suburbs attend our program. Some are affiliated with area synagogues while others are unaffiliated. For decades we have been providing our students with quality, substantive Jewish education. Our curriculum is designed to offer students the necessary tools, skills, and knowledge needed to create a life filled with the joys of Judaism. Our elementary department teaches students from Mechina (2nd grade) to Dalet (6th grade). Students in 2nd-6th grades study in the afternoon after their school day ends. 7th-12th graders attend in the evening to avoid conflicts with after school extra curricular activities. Our 9th -12th graders have the opportunity to study Hebrew through the University of Minnesota College in the Schools (CIS) program. They earn college and/or high school credit.
