TTSP proudly presents Midrasha’s 2024 graduating class: Meron Adis, Gabriel Cobin, Nat Chang-Deutsch, Jesse Dulkin, and Alana Goffman.

On Wednesday, May 15, a memorable graduation ceremony was held at the TTSP building’s library, attended by graduates, their families, friends, and members of the St. Paul community.

The ceremony began with a heartfelt welcome from Executive Director Liz Palmer, who praised the students for their resilience and determination. “Your education here has given you a strong foundation,” she told the graduates. “Now, it’s up to you to build upon it and make a positive impact in the world.”

Congratulations and good wishes were conveyed by St. Paul Jewish Federation CEO David Kaplan and TTSP Board President Jared Miller. Bob Goffman shared a parent’s reflection on the significant role TTSP played in his children’s lives. Rabbi Tamar Grimm connected the week’s Torah portion to blessings for the graduates’ future endeavors, and Earl Schwartz provided a historical overview of TTSP’s importance in the Jewish history of St. Paul.

Graduates were called to the stage one by one to receive their diplomas, a gift from TTSP and a blessing from their beloved teacher, Rabbi Yosi Gordon. Rabbi Yosi invoked individual blessings from historical Jewish figures for each graduate, creating a moving tribute. The students, who each gave a short speech, were met with applause and cheers, reflecting the audience’s support and pride. Two students delivered their speeches in fluent Hebrew.

The ceremony concluded with Midrasha Director Susie Chalom blessing the graduates as they embark on the next stage of their lives.

After the formal proceedings, guests enjoyed a dessert reception with refreshments and the opportunity to congratulate the graduates personally. The atmosphere was filled with joy as graduates posed for photos, shared memories, and looked forward to their next adventures.

The Class of 2024 leaves Midrasha High School with a strong sense of community and a readiness to tackle future challenges. This graduation ceremony was not only a recognition of their past achievements but also a launchpad for their future successes.

Congratulations to all the graduates of Midrasha! We look forward to seeing the incredible contributions you will make to the world.
