Special message regarding support for Israel

This war in Israel is truly devastating. As numbers and names of people who were killed, injured, abducted, or are missing stream in, our hearts break. For those of you who have children, grandchildren, family, or friends in Israel right now, we send an extra message of support. May they be safe; and may you feel held by your local community.
If you are moved to give financial humanitarian aid, consider donations to the St. Paul Jewish Federation’s Israel Emergency Fund and/or to Magen David Adom, a vast network of first responders on the ground in Israel.
We send a special prayer to the family and countless friends who are suffering at the news of the loss of our beloved former Talmud Torah of Saint Paul teacher, Noi Maudi, who was amongst those killed at Nir Oz. We collectively mourn. The outpouring of love that is already flowing from those who were touched by Noi is a testament to who he was and who this community is. Please reach out to be connected to paths to support those closest to him who need to know that we care and are here. Lean into one another as you remember Noi and may his memory be a blessing.
With prayers for the safe return of those taken captive, and comfort to those who are suffering,
